Welcome to the vintage matchbook site! 

This site is dedicated to preserving the visual art of matchbooks and matchboxes from the 20's, 30's, 40's and beyond.  The matchbooks displayed on this site's galleries are mostly from Southern California, though there will be some from other parts of the U.S.  Additionally, I will be posting images of matchbooks and matchboxes from pre-war Japan.

This site has just started (August 2010) and I have many matchbooks to photograph, post and label, so check back often as the site will steadly grow.

Note: these matchbooks are a collection and not for sale (sorry!)
